Who we are...
Through worship, relevant teaching, real friendships and compassionate care, our desire is to be a church that helps people come to know Christ and where individuals are encouraged to develop in their Christian faith and be empowered to serve God.
We are people from varied backgrounds and different Christian traditions. We do not fit the stereotypical church congregation comprised predominantly of middle-class professional people. We are tradesmen, shop workers, accountants, truck drivers, health workers, teachers and retired people, all worshipping, serving and sharing faith together.
Certainly not everyone in our Sunday congregation has grown up in our informal style of church fellowship. Some have joined us from different denominational traditions including Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Salvation Army and others. And there are people who came with no previous experience of church but have now discovered Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour.
Our worship incorporates both modern and traditional music and ministries. Our goal is that everyone is able to worship in a meaningful way that glorifies God, strengthens the believers and enriches the whole church.
The Chapel has been actively involved with the local East Sutton Coldfield Churches Together group for over 50 years and we meet with the other churches on a number of occasions each year.
